Chart of Services
The flow chart included here summarizes the range of services offered immigrant health professionals by a Welcome Back Center, with the overall progression from initial contact to discharge. However, it is important to consider that most participants will be involved in various activities at the same time. For example, a foreign-trained nurse may have sent his or her transcripts to the Board of Registered Nursing and, while waiting for a response from the board, be enrolled in an ESL class and/or a phlebotomy course. Throughout this time, the participant may also meet several times with an educational case manager for guidance and advice.
